Children
We are able to provide advice in both Private and Public children’s proceedings. Private proceedings involve disputes solely between the parents or other family members of the children and can relate to the residence of the children (sometimes known as custody) contact with the children (sometimes known as access) as well as paternity disputes, DNA testing and questions over specific issues or steps such as change of name, taking a child abroad or religious education.
We also offer a specialised service relating to Public Children’s proceedings including dealing with the Local Authority and can provide full representations for parents or children in care and supervision proceedings and other local authority instituted proceedings.
