James Pearce & Co wills and probate solicitors provide advice in connection with all aspects of making wills and obtaining probate. We also advise on trusts, general estate planning, tax issues (including where appropriate recommendation of specialist financial advisors) and contentious probate (i.e. where wills or estates are disputed). We can act as executors and trustees and manage estates and trusts where appropriate, and also assist in completing inheritance tax returns.

Probate

We offer support and assistance for executors and others at what can be a very traumatic and emotional time. We are happy to take over the entire administration of an estate if you wish. We carry out all steps including the completion of the necessary tax returns and obtain the grant of probate for you. We can provide a fixed fee in most circumstances but where this is not possible we can talk you through the approximate cost and can provide you with details of our charging rates. We have successfully completed the administration of many thousands of estates.
